Bob Sywolski 
Venture Partner
Mr. Sywolski joined JMI in 1998 as a General Partner and in March 2000, he became Chief Executive Officer of Blackbaud, Inc. In 2005, Mr. Sywolski retired from Blackbaud and returned to JMI as a Venture Partner. Mr. Sywolski is currently a Director of Catapult Learning, Inc. and Kronos, Inc. Mr. Sywolski’s past JMI investment experience includes Blackbaud, Inc., Changepoint Corporation, DoubleClick, Inc. and Transcentive, Inc.
Prior to joining the Firm in 1998, Mr. Sywolski was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cap Gemini America, President of CGA Computer, Inc., Chief Executive Officer of Huthwaite, Chief Executive Officer of several divisions of Bradford National Corporation, Senior Vice President of Wood Struthers & Winthrop and was employed at Stanford Research Institute in the Research and Client Services Division.
Mr. Sywolski graduated from Widener University and earned an MBA from Long Island University.
