Aptela Names Douglas Strahan New Chief Executive Officer

Aptela, Inc., a leading business VoIP and hosted communications provider, announced today that it promoted its Chief Financial Officer, Douglas Strahan, to Chief Executive Officer of the company.

A seasoned executive, Strahan brings more than 20 years of broad leadership experience to his new role, with expertise in Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations. Prior to joining Aptela, Strahan served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of INPUT where he helped lead the company to 1000% revenue growth during his five year tenure. Strahan has also held executive positions with two early stage businesses: Advocates On Call, a company he co-founded in January 2000, and BIA Financial Network, a premiere financial advisor to the communications industry. Strahan also brings a solid track record of success from Fortune 1000 businesses including Blockbuster Entertainment and General Electric.
